Church Interior

The interior of Kanapaha Presbyterian Church retains much of its splendid austerity. The open air half-scissors with center post trusses defy modern engineering with their simplicity. The original kerosene chandelier hangs centrally, and is lit for evening services. Though distinctly old-world, Kanapaha is fully air-conditioned and electrically lit.
